It's so fun to see Tad's interest in books...makes having a couple dozen children's books stuck in my head well worth it!

Grandad Piper stopped by on a bike ride and discovered a very fussy Tadeus. He told his grandson that he could take a nap with him if he wanted to, so without hesitation Tad grabbed his blanket, climbed up on to Grandad's lap and fell asleep. If you know my dad and my son you know that this situation is quite unusual for both of them, which is probably why it was so incredibly sweet!

Samuel's Arrival

On Saturday, February 7th, at 3:11pm our second son arrived. Samuel Gregory was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches. He came quickly...very quickly, but thankfully everything went extremely well. I have spent the last nine months wondering what it would be like to have a second child and how it would be possible to love another one as much as I love Tad...but as some of you already know, you just do. My heart has grown again and more than I could ever have imagined. Our family is absolutely perfect.

Yay!!! Okay I know that it took me six months to get this thing updated, but let's be honest...aren't you impressed that we even have a blog at all?!?!?! So even though "Baby Boy O" #2 is almost here, I have made it my New Year's resolution to keep up to date pics posted. I figure since my voicemail never got full in 2008 (seriously!), I can do just about anything. :) Love you all!
